Carol Harding- Practice Management Consultant & Director
Carol Harding is the owner and director of Aspire Medical Practice Management. Carol is an AAPM Fellow, a qualified industry trainer and an accreditation co-surveyor with almost 2 decades of experience working in the general practice space. Carol worked within a large multisite general practice for over 11 years before starting her consultancy business. She has strong experience in setting up new GP clinics. Passionate about helping practices develop and improve, Carol has a particular interest in quality improvement, accreditation and supporting practices to make improvements to achieve their goals. Carol is experienced in the recruitment and training of all support staff, setting up practice management software and creating customised documentation such as policy and procedure manuals (including online platforms such as Practice Hub), employment documentation and business continuity plans. Carol provides HR and operational support to GP practices, helping them to establish and maintain compliant work practices and manage risks.
Having trained many practice staff over the past decade, Carol has a current training and assessment qualification and has worked as a lead trainer, assessor and mentor in the Cert III Business Administration (Med), and Cert III Health Administration qualifications. She delivered online triage workshops for non-clinical staff, to students across Australia.
Earlier in her career as a medical scientist and research technician, she honed analytical and research skills, which have proven useful in her current role as practice manager/consultant.

Trainer and Assessor- Cert III Business Management (Med) and Cert III Health Administration
Bookkeeping experience of over 20 years and use of both MYOB and Xero.
Experience implementing quality improvement processes, such as adopting innovative technologies to enhance the patient experience and improve operational efficiencies.
Proud to have been a mentor in the AAPM Mentoring Program 2017 to 2019 supporting and developing less experienced practice managers.
